3 things to consider when you are making a presentation:
1. You are the PowerPoint: people attend your workshop to see your experience, not your presentation...so use the visuals to support your ideas not the other way round.
2. Engage with your audience: people want to engage with your topic to learn best. Ask questions, give assignments, create case studies, etc.
3. Simplify the content: the power is helping attendees digest technical content yet feel it was easy to understand. Don't impress with technical words, make sure to keep things simple and sincere.
Most importantly, choose a location that ensures an adequate atmosphere and provides a good support.
